Some suck, some don't -- and that sucks

Linda, Sadly, you describe the situation with my wife. When we were in college, we did everything. After the first baby, we fucked missionary once a week. Then once a month. Now, maybe, on valentines and our anniversary.
My theory is that there are S women and there are R women.
R women are looking for a relationship, romance, love, children, that sort of thing. They may like sex or they may not (or, like Jake's wife, may start out liking it but gradually lose their taste for it), but they are usually willing to have sex to build or maintain a relationship, but not for its own sake.
S women like sex for the same reason men do, because it's fun and it feels good. S women, of course, have been hunted to near-extinction.
Over New Year's the wife came over to his hotel room and fucked him on a continuous basis for eighteen hours or so until he agreed to move back home. Hope that'll last him.
Your post is most insightful. It's a shame that more women can't open up and have fun with sex. Open minded, thoughtful and enthusiastic lovers are a treasure.

The Jennifers of the world have always used sex as a bargaining chip only when they had to. They're the reasons mistresses and escorts exist.
